Since 1961 we have helped our customers save thousands of dollars using our unique lines of equipment to reduce their volume of hazardous and low-level radioactive waste streams. S & G ENTERPRISES, INC., offers unique solutions to special environmental waste disposal issues. We manufacture drum crushers and drum waste compaction equipment, as well as specialty machines for laboratories to destroy specimen vials and microscope slides.

We're a national and international distributor of complimentary specialty waste disposal equipment as well. RAM FLAT Compactors allow their users to significantly reduce their costs to dispose of hazardous and radioactive waste. This is done by reducing the volume of the waste by compacting the material right into the drum. Some of the RAM FLAT Compactor models are designed specifically to crush empty drums into metal pancakes.

But the real bonus is the ability to configure one RAM FLAT Compactor to both crush empties and to compact waste into drums. RAM FLAT drum crusher models are available for someone generating a few drums a day to the site that needs to crush hundreds of drums per day.

S & G ENTERPRISES, INC. offers unique solutions to special environmental waste disposal issues.
We manufacture inside the drum waste compaction equipment and specialty machines for labs to destroy specimen vials and microscope slides.
Since 1971, the RAM FLAT Compactor has been used to either crush empty drums or to reduce the volume of hazardous or radioactive wastestreams directly into the drum.
RAM FLAT Compactors are offered to customers looking for quality, low maintenance equipment.
With our flexible design - we can build from our base models a customized solution using standard and specialty accessories to meet the requirements.
With a powerful 60,000 pounds of compaction force, the Model 55ER is perfect for inside-the-drum applications like paint filters, rags or low-level.
A full 15 inches of clearance above the drum allow operators the ability to load the drums without removing the drum from the compactor.
This extra clearance is also important to permit "overfilling" of the drum to maximize the amount of waste compacted on every cycle.
Despite being our "middle of the road" compaction force model, the rolled plate-steel compaction chamber and automatic pushbutton controls are similar as what is used on our continuous-use Model 55AR.
Does your application require you to compact thousands of drums of waste per year of waste?
Does your operation require heavy-duty construction with minimal downtime?
Do you demand the best volume reduction possible?
Then the 55AR is the compactor for you.
What if you need to do all of that and need to compact the waste into 85-gallon overpack drums?
Then the 85AR is your choice.
The 55AR and the 85AR are designed for round-the-clock operation.
The 3/8-inch thick rolled steel plate compaction chamber is virtually indestructible.
I know, I know you've been meaning to get rid of the drums but the scrap dealer won't give you anything for them.
Something about not knowing what's inside.
Plus, the pick-up charge is exorbitant for just a couple dozen drums.
Did you know if you crush the drum - the EPA considers the drum "empty" and now can be sold as scrap metal?
That's where the RAM FLAT can help.
We've been building our drum crushers for over 45 years and they are built to last.
Whether you have just a few drums a week or a couple hundred a day, we have a drum crusher model to suit your needs.
When your operation requires the best possible volume reduction with no down-time, the Model 55A is the drum crusher for you.
This unit is designed for 24/7 operation and is capable of crushing 200, 300 or even 500 drums per day.
The 85,000 pounds crushing force will reduce a 35 inch tall drum to a height of 3.5 inches tall - a 10:1 volume reduction!
The 3/8-inch thick rolled steel plate compaction chamber is virtually indestructible.
And, the tough positive-displacement piston pump and 10-HP motor guarantees a fast compaction cycle.
