S & S Sanitation
Our story began almost 40 years ago in 1981 when Roger a.k.a. Pudge Stover purchased a local trash collection route and launched a company named Stover's Refuse. The business grew by acquiring new collection routes and gaining new customers from its reputation for reliable and courteous customer service. Roger's son-in-law and current co-owner, John Schmidt, began working for the company in 1985.

It was at this time that the name of the company changed from Stover's Refuse to S & S Sanitation Inc. For the next twenty-three years, Roger, John, and their team of employees continued to grow our company and strengthen our brand of placing the customer first. It's always been our way of doing business, and one that we all take great pride in maintaining.

In 2008, Roger decided to retire from S&S Sanitation, Inc. and sold his shares of company to his daughter, Tonya, and son-in-law, John. The Schmidts, along with our many wonderful, dedicated, and responsible employees, carry-on the proud tradition of superior customer service and satisfaction that has been the cornerstone of our company since the beginning.

This sanitation company far exceeds my business needs! Mainly, as a roofing contractor, I appreciate their standard flat rate for roll-off containers. It's a policy I can plan around when I'm booking jobs. Other area competitors like Werlor and Allied charge an upfront flat rate, and then stick you with a tonnage overage charge a few weeks later. This is usually a cost that I have to eat since I've already billed my customers. No issues or hidden charges with S & S, and they are always friendly and willing to work with me! Highly recommended!
